Pear and Swiss Melt
This tasty sandwich will become your new go-to lunch. It’s quick, easy and very satisfying.

- 8 slices P’tit Quebec Swiss Slices
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1/2 pear, cored and thinly sliced
- 4 tsp (20 mL) honey
- Top each of 4 slices of bread with 1 slice cheese. Top with prosciutto and pear slices; drizzle with honey. Top with remaining cheese slices. Cap with remaining bread slices.
- Preheat panini press according to manufacturer’s instructions. Grill each sandwich for 3 to 5 minutes or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted. (Alternatively, toast sandwiches in large skillet brushed with a bit of oil for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.)
Tip: Substitute Serrano ham for prosciutto if desired.
